CSG Member Benefits

As a member of the Connecticut Society of Genealogists, you will belong to one of the largest and most respected group of family history enthusiasts anywhere in the world. Nearly four decades old, we encourage our members to become involved in all aspects of our society and help contribute to the ongoing success of the programs, services, and publications which we produce each year.

While many of our members do live in Connecticut, we have more than 1,000 members living outside the state. We encourage your membership in our nonprofit society so we can continue to serve those interested in family and local history research.

In addition, our "Blue Card" is quickly recognized by Town Clerks throughout the state. CSG was one of the first organizations recognized by the CT State Department of Health and, as such, membership in CSG provides access for your primary research of Vital Records held in local and state archives.
